Leonardo Partnerschaften

LEEMNET – LErning and EMployment NETwork

The LEEMNET partnership built networks around and between the project partners from LEB Thüringen (DE), Cavan Institute (IE) and Universus Csei (IT) to increase the amount and the quality of Leonardo mobility in common VET fields.

It supported the exploitation of local and regional networks to promote European mobility.

At five transnational meetings we involved VET- trainers, trainees, employers of SMEs and policy decision makers.

We discussed commonly about expectations and fears regarding mobility. The main European added value was that the regional cooperation partners of each partner organization visited commonly potential practical placements and got directly arguments for the value of mobility.

Due to that we could establish successfully the first three Leonardo Mobilities between our organisations.

We focused our collaboration on post grade education and VET for staff of agricultural and agritourist organizations, articraft, soft tourism sector and european geoparks, agrifood.

The final meeting leaded together three parallel European workshops to a transnational conference “Challenge European Mobility – Know How Transfer”. Together with employers, students, decision makers/ politicians the partner organizations of three networks dealing with European mobility (Horticulture Leonardo partnership, LEEMNET Leonardo Partnership and Chance Europe IdA Partnership) worked to increase the value of European Mobility.

The partnership will continue its cooperation beyond the project life circle. Currently Leonardo Mobility projects are approved. Further common projects on several field of European cooperation are scheduled.

Horticulture - Grüne Partner für Mobilität

The partnership established networks around and between the project partners in DE, IT, NL and LT to increase the amount and the quality of Leonardo mobility in the green sector.

We exploited our local and regional networks to promote European mobility.

At five transnational meetings we involved VET- trainers, trainees, employers of SMEs and policy decision makers to visit commonly potential practical placements. That way we came in a productive process with the relevant stakeholders of mobility to learn from their fears and expectations. This leaded us into trustful cooperation which provides new Mobility options.

We discussed and learned more about the meaning of the European Qualification frame and the different national frames and started the intention to continue our collaboration at this field.

We realised the meaning of the chances and challenges of data bases for increasing the quality and quantity if Leonardo mobility.  As a result of that the Innovation transfer project “AQUAP- Attractiveness, quality control and accreditation of placements in the green sector” under Coordination of the AOC-RAAD (NL) had been applied for and we are going to start within the next months.

We explored the final partnership meeting as a transnational conference netting Stakeholders from 6 European countries. Via plenary inputs and three workshops we exchanged our experiences and discussed solutions for improving European Mobility for young people.

We applied and carried out six mobility projects. Future projects are envisaged.
